Cookie Policy

In accordance with Article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE and the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s Guide on the use of cookies, this policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on callsmarter.ai and on the app.callsmarter.ai customer dashboard.

Version 2026-10-03 · Last updated: 2026-10-03

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in the user’s browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), likewise allow information to be stored on the device. Technical cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user, and those that store preferences chosen by the user, are exempt from the consent requirement; others (for example, analytics or advertising cookies) require prior consent.

The callsmarter.ai website

The callsmarter.ai website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, analytics tools or advertising technologies. For that reason, we do not display a cookie banner.

Cloudflare technical cookies

The website is served through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., which in certain cases may set technical security cookies, for example __cf_bm (distinguishing human from automated traffic, lasting approximately 30 minutes) or cf_clearance (after passing a security check). They are strictly necessary to protect the website, are exempt from consent, and we do not use them for tracking or for analytics or advertising purposes.

The app.callsmarter.ai customer dashboard

The customer dashboard, available only to registered users, uses a single first-party technical cookie, cs_session, which keeps the user signed in (authentication). It is set with the HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax attributes and lasts at most 24 hours from sign-in; the session also ends after a period of inactivity configurable by the organisation (60 minutes by default). There is no separate CSRF protection cookie.

In addition, the dashboard stores in the browser’s local storage (localStorage) two preferences chosen by the user: cs.lang (interface language) and cs.dashboard.period (period selected on the home page). These are not cookies, have no expiry and are removed when the site data is cleared in the browser.

All these items are technical or user-selected personalisation items and are exempt from consent.

How to manage or delete cookies

You can allow, block or delete cookies and data stored by websites in your browser’s privacy settings, usually under cookies or site data. Please note that if you block technical cookies, you may be unable to sign in to the customer dashboard, or some security checks may not complete.

Changes to this policy

If in the future we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-exempt cookies, we will first request your consent through a banner allowing you to accept or reject them with equal ease, and we will update this policy. For more information on the processing of your data, see the Privacy Policy.
